According to the National Association of Realtors, For Sale By Owner home sales accounted for 13% of the home sales in the US in 2008.
I'm here to let the 13% of you out there who think that listing your home FSBO is a good idea that financially it is a huge mistake.
In 2008 "The typical FSBO home sold for $153,000 compared to $211,000 for agent-assisted home sales." - NAR This is a startling statistic that I don't want you to be part of. Get a Realtor to list and sell your home.
I would suggest you get the BEST Realtor, call me if you are thinking about listing your home For Sale By Owner and you'll be glad you did.
